The protests are an unusual epilogue to the reflections of some militants who, a few years earlier, faced the difficulties of organization in a sector with such a high turnover (a group of militants, “Disk Revolta: questões sobre uma tentativa recente de organização em call centers”, Passa Palavra, 30 May 2019). At the time when call centers were affected by an unprecedented wave of stoppages, it is significant that the prospect of mobilization was simply to escape from that hell.
